Kalanchoe is a popular succulent houseplants with long-lasting blooms. Caring for flowering kalanchoes is not a trouble at all, but here are some things you need to know. This plant likes bright, natural light. A medium or high light situation is best as long as it is not getting too much direct sun, make sure it is not kept close to any hot windows because they will burn. Kalanchoe should not be constantly wet. It needs a good drainage, let it all drain out and then water it again. Normal home temperatures are fie, just keep in mind that, as with any flowering plant, the hotter your home is the faster the flowers will open up, and the shorter the period of bloom will be.
