For Care & Conditioning:
- Use a tall, sturdy vase to support the height of your gladiolus.
- Hold each stem next to the vase to determine how much to trim.
- Cut the stems at a 45‑degree angle to help them drink efficiently and stay fresh.
- When trimming, cut under water to prevent air bubbles from blocking hydration.
- Add the included flower food to your vase of gladiolus.
- Recut the stems and refresh the water every two days, removing any leaves below the waterline.
- Keep your gladiolus away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or cold drafts from the A/C.
- Use room‑temperature water for best hydration.
- To reduce bacteria, add 1/4 tablespoon of bleach per litre of water.
- If you run out of flower food, add one tablespoon of sugar to keep your gladiolus feeling its best.
