Hydrangea White is sold in a bunch (10-15 stems)
Hydrangea White have long been cherished as the “quiet luxury” of the floral world, blooms that don’t rely on color to make an impression, but on presence. Their full, cloud‑like heads were first cultivated in cool coastal regions, where growers noticed something special: in colder air, the petals stayed impossibly crisp, holding their shape with a purity that felt almost ethereal.
Hydrangea Care Pro Tip:
Hydrangeas are unusual in the most beautiful way, they don’t just drink from their stems, they drink from their petals too! It’s part of their charm, part of their personality. Florists often say hydrangeas are “water souls,” happiest only when surrounded by coolness and abundance of water.
Hydrangea Flower Care:
- Hold the stems of your Hydrangeas next to the vase to determine how much needs trimmed
- Remove any foliage that would rest below your vase’s waterline to prevent introducing harmful bacteria to your hydrangeas’ drinking water
- Prepare your vase first: Fill your vase with water and the flower food that came with the Hydrangeas. If you have forgotten to purchase extra flower food, a tablespoon of sugar will do for now.
- Cut 1-2 inches off the stems at a 45-degree angle with a sharp knife or shears while holding underwater. This will drastically boost water absorption and prevents air bubbles from clogging the stems. Drop them immediately in the vase.
- Cut hydrangeas LOVE, LOVE, LOVE water, but they HATE direct sunlight, heat, or cool drafts from the A/C. So, make sure to put them in a cool room, away from direct sunlight where they can thrive and live a long and fulfilled life.
- Recondition Every 1-2 Days.
- Hydrangea stems produce a sticky sap that can make absorbing water effectively a constant challenge. For this reason, it’s advisable to poke holes down the stem with a needle.
